To ensure the effective running of the Community Home Care Team
Our service users are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such providing personal care to our service users in respectful and dignified way to meet their daily needs
You will be responsible for coordinating the rota
Liaising with the local authority Stoke-on-Trent City Council & Staffordshire County Council care brokerage to offer care packages we are able to facilitate, arranging assessment of new service users completing initial assessment, care plan, risk assessment and any other related paperwork
Ensuring calls are completed on time and for the required duration, planning service user visits and allocating staffing
Attending service user reviews with family and fellow professionals, implementing changes and updating care plans and service user paperwork
You will manage the Community Home Care staff team, completing supervisions every 6 weeks, and dealing with queries raised
You will complete on call duties 1-2 days per week, ensuring that any queries or emergencies are dealt with in a timely manner offering advice and guidance, ensuring staff sickness is covered
Package to include:
Fully paid annual leave entitlement (5.6 weeks based on contracted hours)

Skills and Attributes:
A minimum 2 years of care experience
1 year experience within a management role
Ability to effectively manage a staff team and work well within a team
Commitment to making a difference in the people’s lives whom we provide a high standard of care and support for and the ability to provide hand’s on personal care in way that is dignified and respectful
Good written and verbal communication skills
Full driving license and own car is essential

Offering full Flexibility
Between 06:00 – 22:00
