Our client a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of electronics for OEM, Motorsport, Aviation and much more. With several areas to the business with a large online presence, this exciting and interesting post has become available to work with a forward thinking company offering your expertise in research, design and development within the web development team to support the company website.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the UX UI, maintenance and ongoing upkeep of the company website

Working within a team you will be optimising existing content and creating new sites to provide great user experience

Meeting business goals and expectations

Gaining a great understanding of User Interface design in order to provide a high quality creative visual

Carry out final functional tests to ensure quality is maintained

Liaise with management and provide clear solutions for development projects

Skills & Attributes Required:

At least five years of experience in the field of web development

Applicants should have solid experience designing and developing new web sites and web pages

You must have experience with WordPress however HTML and CSS are hugely beneficial also

JavaScript and CMS Systems

Strong knowledge of the WordPress platform (theme/plugin development)

An understanding of PHP back-end development

Version control (GIT) – Releasing updated and new versions, PUC – Plugin update checker

Beneficial but not essential – Coding Skills required, PHP JavaScript/jQuery CSS – Flexbox SASS HTML

API Integration & Development

Web Pack bundle the JS and CSS

Data Visualization

Have a good understanding of UX/UI Design

Able to estimate project timeline accurately and stick to deadlines
