The Role:

 

Working for a local independent provider of care and professional support to people with varied care needs

Due to expansion we are looking to recruit to our valued and professional team

You will work closely, providing varied care needs to people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, sensory, physical disabilities

We strive to provide support to people in a way that is respectful, promotes independence and enables individuals to realise their own potential

This may also include supporting individuals in accessing the community, in their own homes or in any setting their needs and choices may require

 

The Hours:

37.5 hours per week

Working 5 days over a 7 day period including every other weekend

Day Shift 08:00-16:30 or Noon Shift 13:30-22:00

 

Duties:

Your role will include supporting people who live within our supported living complex’s

Providing support which will include some personal care, showering, safe manual handling, issuing medication, meal preparation, and any other tasks required as part of the service users care plan

You will be required to travel as part of your role

You will work within a small team providing care and support to service users within our supported living units or within service users own homes

 

Package to include:

Fully paid annual leave entitlement (5.6 weeks based on contracted hours)

Bonus scheme in place one additional day for each year of employment

No sickness bonus scheme in place

Skills and attributes required:

Care experience ideal but not essential

A passion to work in care

Commitment to making a difference in the people’s lives

Interest to provide a high standard of care and support for and the ability to provide hand’s on personal

care in way that is dignified and respectful

Good written and verbal communication skills

Full driving licence and own car is essential due to the locations
