Events Technology Sales Consultant

Upto £28k Basic + OTE est £35k +

The Role:

Working for London based company who are passionate about tech and their platform.  The best of event management and fundraising technology under one virtual roof, simple and engaging event setup, our system creates your event, sell tickets, add auction items, collect payments and much more in just a few clicks. Maximising fundraising potential, so that the charity, and donors, receive the best value proposition.

Identifying new sales leads

Pitching products and/or services

Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers

Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads

Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing

Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up product demos

Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events to raise the profile of the company

Preparing presentations and sales displays

Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products

Developing quotes and proposals

Being aware of market trends and competitors

Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person

Ensuring sales goals are met

Working with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs

Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM

Skills and attributes required:

Excellent communication skills

Prior experience within a business development based role, preferably tech related

Good working knowledge of CRMs and data management

Comfortable working remotely as part of a larger team

Enthusiastic about hitting monthly targets

Proven ability to work independently using initiative

Exceptional time-management and multitasking skills are essential

Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment, as well as collaborating with a remote team

Adaptable, and capable of working under pressure with competing priorities

Passionate about solving people’s problems and bringing a smile to someone’s face

Empathetic and patient with excellent written and verbal communication skills

You have a continuous improvement mindset, constantly seeking to increase efficiency

You take the initiative

You’re enterprising and can think on your feet – no problem is too great or small for you to tackle head-on

Strong analytical and critical thinking

Curious, ambitious and excellence-driven

Excellent communication and organisational skills


Competitive base salary £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience

Commission (5% of net sales)

Monday to Friday

9am – 6pm
